Faîte Wine Co. was created by winemaker Derek Baljeu, born from a search for something quieter, more meaningful, and more intentional in California wine. After years crafting high-end wines, Derek built Faîte as a small, focused project that prioritizes precision, restraint, and a deep respect for the places the wines come from.

The goal is simple: make wines with transparency and care. No shortcuts, no crowd-pleasing formulas—just thoughtful winemaking that lets the site speak.

Faîte also exists to do more than make wine. 100% of net profits not reinvested back into the project are donated to Surfrider Foundation and Protect Our Winters, supporting the peaks and coastlines that shaped this brand and our winemaker from the beginning.
